Testimonials

Our wedding was rather unusual with my daughter having a blessing in a cave before walking across the Yorkshire dales to the church in Clapham. We asked a lot from Ed. He serenaded the guests on the hillside and then marched the Bride and Groom into the cave and then a mile back to the church. He never took a break and played with great skill and created an atmosphere that was electric. Musically great and with such a lovely accommodating attitude Ed was an integral part of the wedding. Everyone who attended after saying how beautiful the bride was mentions the Piper. Ed made many friends that day and a lot of people are thinking of arranging ‘do’s’ just to get Ed to play.
One of our younger guests Arianna says Ed was wwwwwwwwwwwwicked.
Look out for Yorkshire TV’S The dales programme where the Wedding is to be featured.

Your playing was beautiful and was a lovely poignant and fitting tribute to my mum's memory and her life. People at Hassop Hall were saying how beautiful your playing was and how much it had touched them during the service.

Just a note from Dave and I to say thank you very much for playing at the wedding on Sunday - it sounded fantastic and you really looked the part.
Apologies for the mix up at the register signing part - I had a beautiful song in mind to play at that point but in all the emotion of the day I totally forgot to take my music along. You did a fantastic job - we both totally love the sound of the pipes and I'm sure the Scottish contingent would have been pleased. Sorry we didn't really get a chance to talk to you much - it all went by in such a blur. There is a fantastic photo of you in one of the rooms with your reflection in the mirrors so we can easily send this to you if you like. Thanks again - we have no problems writing a proper thank you if you'd like us to.

Lorna Orr (Oulton Hall, Leeds)

'Ed arrived with plenty of time to get ready. He piped my daughter in to her wedding perfectly and during the wedding ceremoney. He was dressed with all the highland charm as a true highlander would, quite a few guest’s thought that he was scottish. His outfit was splendidly turned out and while he waited for photographs to be taken he talked to the guests about his uniform and bag pipes.
