Last night I played at a birthday party in Chapel-En-Le-Frith and amongst the guests were the famous Scottish singer, Moira Anderson. Moira and the guests on her table sung along to quite a few of my tunes including Flower of Scotland, Loch Lomond, The Cradle Song and Westering Home. Lots of people were clapping and stamping their feet to my strathspeys, reels, jigs and hornpipes. I had several children dancing all around me to just about every tune! It was a great event and a pleasure to be asked to play at it. Happy Birthday to Shireen. I hope a great night was had by all.
