I learnt to play the bagpipes in Chesterfield at the age of ten and performed my first New Years Eve job at The Highway Man, Baslow. Throughout my teen years I busked regularly in Bakewell , Buxton and Derby City Centre through which I would be noticed and offered jobs such as piping at Derby City Football Club,  regular Burns Night events at Rolls Royce, Derby and lots of weddings, funerals and other private events. I played (and competed) with Ashbourne Pipe Band for many years and performed with them at carnivals and events throughout Derbyshire and Staffordshire.  

In recent years I’ve been repeatedly booked to play in Coal Aston for the village Remembrance Sunday event as well as regular bookings throughout the year entertaining residents at Valley Lodge Care Home, Matlock.
